COMMERCIAL HERD
Our current commercial herd consists of Limousin, Angus, Red Angus, Brahman, and Braford momma cows, all of whom we have raised here on our ranch.Breeding them to our Limousin bulls , they are our foundation cows. Currently we are only registering the heifers out of them, the bulls are usually sold locally as commercial bulls or are steered to be used as show calves.
We are also moving towards using the few commercial cattle we have left as embryo recipients, from some of our donor cows.
This picture was taken of these boys on Thanksgiving Day 2001, they
are from back to front, Rambo,who is the Steer our boys raised.
Then there is Baby, a Charolais X Jersey steer, and last but not least is a visitor, some friends needed us to calf sit Bully, one of their Limousin bulls while they were out of town.
