I began to get back into the modelhorse world
in 2005 when searching on Ebay for Breyer horses and found out about
Stone horses (stopped collecting in 1987) and RESINS! Wow how things
had changed since then!
I contacted a lady who painted a beautiful resinhorse I saw there
& by luck she directed me to several sites that got my creative
juices flowing! I bought a saddlekit from
Rio Rondo and away I went. I had lots of
supplies having worked with leather most of my life in one capacity
or another. I also had to get into the
painting of the horses! I work in many
differant media depending on what it is I am trying to accomplish,
oils are my main media now though.
I work on my tack and horses inbetween running
our live cattle ranch , raising APHA horses, and taking our two boys
to their practices and cheering them on at meets and games. I hope
